Detailed Description

Service conditions: the equipment is to be used at an installation altitude not exceeding 1000 m. The ambient medium temperature is not higher than +40 °C and not lower than -5 °C, and the relative air humidity is not higher than 85%. It is to be used where there is no conductive dust and no gas corrosive to metal or insulation, where there is no explosion hazard, and where there is no vibration and the vertical inclination does not exceed 5°.

Transformer under test: capacity is up to 2500 kVA at the 10 kV class and up to 31500 kVA at the 35 kV class (with the optional capacitor compensation cabinet). The voltage class on the primary side of the transformer under test is below 35 kV.

Measuring accuracy: voltage range 0-22 kV (for 35 kV class power transformers) and current range 0-400 A (extendable). Minimum voltage resolution is 0.001 V × PT ratio, minimum current resolution is 0.0001 A × CT ratio and minimum power resolution is 0.1 W × PT ratio × CT ratio. Ambient operating temperature is -10 to 45 °C and ambient operating relative humidity is 85%.

Test items: 10 kV transformer no-load test, completing no-load loss and no-load current (%) measurement; 10 kV transformer load test, completing load loss and impedance voltage (%) measurement; 35 kV transformer no-load test, completing no-load loss and no-load current (%) measurement; 35 kV transformer load test, completing load loss and impedance voltage (%) measurement; transformer induced withstand voltage test, completing the turn-to-turn, layer-to-layer and section-to-section insulation tests; and transformer power-frequency withstand voltage test, completing the applied withstand voltage test. Extendable test items are partial discharge testing of dry-type transformers and transformer temperature-rise testing.
