Overview: the GD-700 overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional ratio bridge, which is cumbersome to operate, gives unintuitive readings and requires conversion to test only one phase. The instrument completes three-phase ratio testing in one operation with fast speed and high accuracy.
Power supply: it samples a digitised three-phase inverter test supply with no harmonic content and easily adjusted voltage, eliminating the influence of AC220V or generator supply on start and stop.
Features: it provides a three-phase test supply, identifies connection groups 0-11, supports Z-connected transformers, and measures up to 197 tap positions. It has complete protection - HV/LV reverse-connection, turn-to-turn short-circuit and output short-circuit protection - and uses a 7-inch 65K colour touchscreen LCD.
Construction: it uses a cold-resistant, temperature-resistant, sealed, waterproof, drop- and shock-proof multi-function engineering plastic case for field testing, with a non-volatile clock and data storage.
