Overview: the GDBZ-IV microcomputer-based transformer test system uses the latest virtual instrument technology, combining the powerful data processing capability of the computer with the excellent hardware control capability of the industrial control computer. The PC controls the entire test process and processes the data through the system software; the whole test process is completed with one key, achieving genuine operator dialogue and fully automatic operation.
Control and measurement system: the test system runs on the Windows operating system and the test software operates in a fully Chinese-language environment. During testing the operator clicks the corresponding button and the whole test item is completed automatically, with all test data displayed on screen in real time. The control section of the test equipment uses advanced control technology such as PLC. The test software includes password protection, so the operator enters an ID and password to reach the test interface. The factory test report and print format can be designed to the customer’s own draft, and after a test the report can be printed directly or edited before printing (limited to the test items). A mechanical emergency stop button is provided on the bench to protect personnel, equipment and the test object in an emergency.
Test capability: oil-immersed transformers up to 63000 kVA at 110 kV and below (including S9, S11, S13 and amorphous alloy transformers); dry-type transformers up to 31500 kVA at 35 kV and below; flameproof mining transformers up to 6300 kVA at 10 kV and below; and special transformers, for which the detailed capacity and voltage class must be advised at the time of order.
Test items: transformer winding resistance test; transformer voltage ratio measurement and connection group number test; transformer no-load current (%) and no-load loss test; transformer short-circuit impedance (%) and load loss test; transformer power-frequency applied withstand voltage test; and transformer induced withstand voltage test.
Extendable test items: transformer partial discharge test; no-load harmonic test (0-31st harmonic); transformer oil withstand voltage test (0-80 kV); transformer temperature-rise test (with automatic plotting of the temperature-rise curve); insulation resistance test (absorption ratio and polarisation index); transformer anti-interference dielectric loss / tan delta test; and lightning impulse test.
