Overview: this digital megohmmeter provides a wide test-voltage range (500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5000V), insulation resistance up to 1000GΩ, a large display that shows both bargraph and numeric values, PI and DAR measurement, selectable insulation test time (within 10 minutes), output-voltage and discharge-voltage display, over-range alarm and auto power-off.
Accuracy: measurement accuracy is ±5%rdg±3dgt (±20% above 100GΩ) for insulation resistance and ±2%rdg±3dgt for voltage, with a short-circuit current of about 1.3 mA and a rated measuring current of 1 mA-1.2 mA.
Safety: the design complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT.III 600V. The instrument is powered by DC 12V (LR14 x 8) and measures 205(L) x 150(W) x 94(D) mm at about 1.8 kg including batteries.
