Overview: this insulation resistance tester uses a 32-bit micro-controller with an automatic measurement interface. It automatically calculates and displays DAR, PI and DD indices and shows measurement data every 5 seconds up to 600 seconds.
Display: it provides digital and analog pointer dual display, showing voltage and resistance data in real time, and can display a waveform graph of insulation resistance against test time.
Performance: the output current is large with a short-circuit current of at least 5mA and strong anti-interference for ultra-high-voltage substation field work. A dedicated discharge circuit discharges large capacitive test objects quickly - a 1μF capacitive test object discharges in about 3 seconds.
Power and interfaces: it has a built-in rechargeable battery and charger (6-12 hours continuous use per charge) and an RS232 serial port for computer operation of the instrument.
