Detailed Description

Overview: the GD820 is suitable for testing the mechanical characteristics of oil, oil-less, SF6 and vacuum high-voltage circuit breakers, and for timing tests on electromagnetically operated devices such as contactors and relays.

Time testing: 12 time channels suit close/open time, bounce, synchronism and auto-reclosing tests on all kinds of breakers, with a 500 kV anti-interference design. The time test range is 0.1-997 ms with an accuracy of ±0.1%.

Travel and speed: a sensor channel with 0.1 mm, 1 mm and 1° photoelectric sensors and a universal mounting bracket provides displacement, speed and waveform measurement. The 1 mm sensor covers 0.01-25.0 m/s (±1%) and 0-1000 mm travel; the 0.1 mm sensor covers 0.001-2.50 m/s (±2%) and 0-40 mm travel.

Current characteristics: a built-in DC control supply supports current-characteristic curve testing and low-voltage operation tests. The current-characteristic test range is 40 mA-10 A with ±1% accuracy, and the DC output is 0-250 V continuously adjustable at up to 15 A.

Display and output: a large backlit LCD supports rich speed definitions, non-direct moving-rod testing (e.g. angle), displacement/speed/current waveform display and analysis, two-cursor speed calculation, data storage and PC data-management via RS232. A high-speed thermal printer prints data tables and waveform curves.
