Detailed Description

Overview: the GD6000 automatic frequency-conversion dielectric loss tester is essential field equipment for power plants and substations. It is a fully automatic precision instrument for measuring the dielectric loss tangent and the capacitance of all kinds of high-voltage power equipment, and it guarantees accurate measurement under strong electric-field interference. It provides data tracking, automatic measurement, LCD display and data printing. With a single operation the microcomputer completes the whole process automatically, making it an ideal dielectric loss measuring instrument.

Performance: the instrument uses an internal 45 Hz / 55 Hz frequency-conversion power source, which fundamentally solves the problem of field interference. Voltage regulation is fully electronic, so the output voltage is continuously adjustable. The built-in high-precision SF6 standard capacitor has a tan delta that does not change with temperature, humidity or similar conditions. Using the self-excitation method, fully sealed CVTs can be measured and the dielectric loss and capacitance of C1 and C2 can be tested directly. Operation is via a large-screen menu with a Chinese interface, which is convenient and simple to use.

Protection: multiple protection functions are provided. The instrument cuts off the supply quickly under high-voltage short circuit, breakdown, overvoltage, overcurrent and voltage fluctuation.

Technical parameters: the self-excitation source is AC 0 V to 30 V at 45 Hz / 55 Hz with a maximum current of 15 A. The high-voltage output is 1 kV to 10 kV with a maximum current of 140 mA. The capacitance measuring range is 15 pF to 100000 pF, and for CVT testing Cx is 100000 pF or less. The dielectric loss measuring range is tan delta of 50% or less. Resolution is 0.001% for tan delta and 0.1 pF for Cx.
