Detailed Description

Overview: the GD-MF arrester seal-check heating water bath comprises a water tank, a heating device, a digital temperature controller and a temperature sensor. The tank side wall has insulation, a water inlet and a water outlet; the heater raises the water temperature to the required level; and the temperature sensor connects to the digital controller.

Safety and mobility: the tank side wall has a heat-insulation layer to prevent scalding during heating, and the whole assembly is integrated into one box with castors at the four corners for easy movement.

Temperature control: the digital temperature controller supports RTD signals at 0.1% resolution and thermocouple signals at 1°C resolution, with 0.3% measurement accuracy and upper/lower limit alarm. The heating device runs on 380V at 30kW.

Test requirements: the water must be clean and the water temperature 45°C±5K above the environment temperature. The arrester is immersed horizontally with the water surface 10-20cm above its highest point. Immersion time is at least 10 minutes below 42kV and at least 30 minutes at 42kV and above.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the GD-MF Arrester Seal-Check Heating Water Bath used for?
It is used to test the sealing of surge arresters. It mainly comprises a water tank, a heating device, a digital temperature controller and a temperature sensor, with the tank fitted with insulation, water inlet and outlet.
How is the seal test carried out?
The hot-water immersion method is used. The test water must be clean, and the water temperature is 45°C±5K above the test environment temperature. The test object must be a new, clean, fully assembled arrester or arrester element. The immersion time is at least 10 minutes for arresters rated below 42kV and at least 30 minutes for arresters rated 42kV and above.
How do I get a quotation?
